  • The south trail system has more than 5 miles of trail; the north system has a little over 3 miles, including the 3.2-mile Green Mountain Trail.
  • Alum Hollow Trailhead (south): 13800 South Shawdee Road, Huntsville 35803, about half a mile past the Madison County Nature Trail entrance.
  • North trailheads: Riverview (5390 Riverview Dr SE) and Astalot (15004 Astalot Dr SE). Both are in neighborhoods with limited parking.
  • A trail addition was finished in spring 2022.
